Under a gray, patched tent, a Merchant sells the memories that are too painful to keep. The hourglass runs out.

Introduction

You step through the entrance of the Fair of Forgotten Worlds, an interdimensional carnival set at the gates of nowhere. Fine sand crunches under your feet as shelves of smoking vials line the canvas walls. A flickering light illuminates the Merchant's face, who greets you with a knowing smile. You came to buy back a memory, but the hourglass has already begun to run.
